Child-Friendly Map Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, June 22, 2019 10:00 AM
Scott Carpenter Park playground - 1505 30th Street
Join us to explore the kid-friendly sites around Scott Carpenter Park, using the new Growing Up Boulder Child-Friendly City Map (the FIRST of its kind in the country!). Learn more here: Growing Up Boulder. We'll walk, share snacks, and talk about what makes a child-friendly city. Every family will receive a copy of the Child-Friendly City Map to take home.
Great Options for Getting There: take the Bound bus down 30th Street to Marine and walk over to the playground, or arrive by bike or car and park on the 29th Street side of the park.
**NOTE that the 30th Street parking lot is closed for the Scott Carpenter Pool construction.**
Meet us at the playground – look for Darcy with the Boulder Walks banner near the picnic shelter.
